Bed 3 – Curcurbits

These beds contain plants from the Curcurbit (Squash) family — summer and winter squash, cucumbers, pumpkins, gourds with annual chamomile and marigolds for color and companionship.  Veering a little off course from the traditional Native American three sisters combination of squash, corn and beans, corn is also planted here.
